My left middle finger has been numb since Saturday. I am so tired of that. My finger is probably going to fall off. I had fun last weekend. It was my 1 year wedding annivarsary and we celebrated by watching tons of movies. We had good food and stuff. I also watched a few CSIs. That was fun since it was my favorite show. Thats all for now.

Becoming a Pirate

It has been so long since I updated. I have been too busy at work to take the time to work on my extracurricular activities like blogging and ebaying. But here I am. I saw a really bad movie yesterday. Alexander. It wouldn't have been that bad except Colin Farrell is an idiot who can't act. Plus he had a bleach blonde mullet.
The coolest thing I have done this week is find out my pirate name. It is Mad Ethel Rackham. Pretty cool isn't it. Here is the link for you if you would like to find out your pirate name too.

Heat Wave!!!

This heat wave reminds me of the good times we had camping at Flintstones Jellystone Park in July of 1993. Nothing like sleeping in a tent in "THE BEDROCK" of South Dakota. That turned out to be a very appropriate name for this place. Nothing can dampen your spirit when you are in sixth grade though...even reading Jurassic Park...or....dreaming about getting home so you could go see The Lion King in the THEATRE.
SBP and WTW got along quite well if I recall. As the oldest on this trip my job was to be constantly harrassed by those two. Ponyboy was no match for them. I think visiting the Flintstones taught us all alot about life. Including how to ride Sandy the mechanical horse for hours on end. All these memories come flooding back when you look at this cheery little postcard.

Another Weekend

This weekend wasn't as mundane as the last one. I painted a mirror black. That turned out as a success. It was an ugly mirror. Now it is incredibly good looking. Megan and I went out on the town and had a large amount of fun. By large amount I mean we had to get a ride home. Saturday we were tired but we ate lunch at Mario's and went shopping at the World Market. Mario's has meatball grinders. They are incredibly good. Sunday was tiring as well since that was when I painted my mirror. Let me tell you how tiring it is to have to wait and wait in between coats of paint. Anyway next weekend we are taking pictures at a wedding. Next Sunday we are buying a new fridge. One of these nights I want to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Wedding Crashers.
That will be all.

Mundane Weekend

It is Tuesday morning. It still feels like Monday. We had a nice uneventful weekend. This is the first in like 6 weeks that hasn't been action packed. Beth and Paul came over and we went to the swimming pool. We laid out and got some skin cancer. Nothing else like it though. We also did absolutley nothing on Sunday. We are so used to having stuff to do that we were just sitting around all bored. We watched Racing Stripes. It was a darling little kids movie. Monday I got home from work and ate some Jalapeno Nachos. Talk about good. I am starting to love Jalapenos. They really jazz things up. I also watched Sleeping with the Enemy. I was scared at times and I screamed out loud. John laughed at me from the other room. He was too cool to watch it. Anyway that pretty much summarizes it. Next weekend there will be updates on Bike Riding and the Wedding Crashers movie.

danielle.....beth....nancy-dog. beth is sleeping on my deck. i am laughing at her. beth is a silly girl. you can't tell here but was very cold that day. check out those cool sunglasses on my head. they are new.

yesterday was fourth of july. we lit some firecrackers and ate some apple pie and hot dogs. they were really good. we also had a pool party. overall i'd say it was a successful holiday. welcome to my blog.
